*Details for Drop Off and Pick Up

  • We will be meeting for Drop Off and our February Sit and Sew in the Christ Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Look for signs for CQG.
  • You (or your designated drop off person) will receive a pick-up ticket with the entrant’s name.
  • Your quilt must have a label with your name.
  • The label must be covered with a plain piece of fabric (for judging purposes).
  • Your quilt must be submitted in a pillowcase with your name and phone number on it. If it will not fit into a pillowcase, another form of covering is allowed, but that covering must not have handles.
  • Please make sure your quilt is free from hanging or loose threads, pet hair, and stains.
  • Note that if your submission is an odd shape, has fragile components, or needs special handling, please contact the Quilt Show Team at quiltshow@charlottequiltersguild.org to discuss options to protect it.
  • Quilt Pick Up is at the Park Expo as soon as possible after the show closes. You (or your designated pick up person) must present the pick-up ticket to retrieve the quilt.

Paint Chip Challenge

CQG Members, please join us in the Paint Chip Quilt Challenge!

How it Works: The paint chip colorway will be in a sealed envelope. Open the envelope and use the colorway you find to let your imagination run wild! If you have any questions, please ask at one of the monthly meetings or contact Deborah Whaley at info@charlottequiltersguild.org. Make sure to turn your paint chip and 20×20 inch mini-quilt in to the February General Guild Meeting. No hanging sleeve is required!

How to Sign Up: Talk to a Board member at the September, October, or November 2024 monthly Guild meeting.
